Międzynarodowe badania terenowe "Jakość i ilość osadów Zbiornika Włocławskiego"

International fieldwork

Włocławek Reservoir sediment quality and quantity

02 – 09.12.2024

Włocławek, Poland

A short introduction of the study area:

The creation of artificial reservoirs not only results in water retention by inhibiting water outflows, but also has serious implications on qualitative and quantitative changes in the circulation of matter and energy in the whole river system.

Main scope of the fieldworks:

  1. Define hydrological conditions below Włocławek Reservoir
  2. Describe soil assessment of the Vistula valley
  3. Define geophysical assessment of the valley (landslides)
  4. Assessment of sediment continuity in Włocławek Reservoir
  5. Inventory of riverside areas in term of spatial planning
